Kitesurfing in Saudi Arabia

Combining elements of sailing, windsurfing, and wakeboarding, kitesurfing (also known as kiteboarding) is rapidly gaining popularity across Saudi and beyond. Kitesurfing boards come in various shapes and sizes to suit different riding styles and conditions, allowing for customization based on individual preferences.

The standard set-up includes a kite, which acts as the primary sail, a board similar to a wakeboard or a small surfboard, a control bar for steering and adjusting the kite's power, and a harness to evenly distribute the kite's pull across the rider's body. A rigorous kitesurf safety system is built to support beginners. The result? Ultimate enjoyment from the start.

If you're looking to kitesurf in Saudi Arabia, welcome. We have warm waters and wind all year long, a number of schools, and a thriving community that participates in events and competitions year-round. Kitesurfing in Jeddah is soon to see the introduction of Formula Kite too. There's never been a better time to get involved.
